oz-presents-x-line-w-5wThe wheel manufacturer OZ has been around since 1971 and with 20 years of WRC competition, 25 years in F1 and over 100 world titles, their wheels are truly race proven products. But the people at OZ know that not everyone can afford a race wheel to spruce up their daily driver. Their new X-line is targeted at the entry level tuner who is just starting to play with their car, but still expect a high quality product for not a lot of money.

Press release:

Most young people drive around with rather less exciting standard rims. But those who dare entering automobile refinement, OZ now have developed a special rim family. X-Line is the name of the new entry model which offers newcomers the possibility to get a taste of tuning without looking like a beginner. Those who are willing to take this step are rewarded with real OZ-rims at an entry-level price.

ADRENALINA

Adrenalina is the name of a five-spoke rim with an edged shape. From the centre of the wheel, the struts and double-spokes first converge closer. After a bend, this distance is getting larger again and continually increases up to the rim bead. In addition, this visual break is highlighted by the lowered centre of the wheel. The Adrenalina rim is available in polished matt black and shining titanium while the outer struts of the spokes and the rim bead between the spokes are always silver-turned. The black model additionally underlines the edge guide. The Adrenalina is available in the sizes 6.5×15, 7.0×16, 7.5×16, 7.0×17, 8.0×17 and 8.0×18 inches at an entry price of only 130 euros including VAT.

ENERGY

Energy is the counterpart to the Adrenalina. There are no edges or protruding angles on this wheel. Clear, straight shapes and gently curved lines characterise the design. The five spokes reduce in direction of the rim bead. The slightly lowered centre of the wheel gives the outer struts a fresh impetus and therefore renders an elegant touch. The finish then decides how significantly visible this touch should be. Customers choosing a matt black spoke body, enhance the contrast to the silver-grinded outer struts. The models in matt silver tech polished or shining titanium are less conspicuous. Also at these finishes, the struts are silver-turned. The Energy is available in the sizes 7.0×17, 8.0×17 and 8.0×18 inches at the entry price of only 183 euros including VAT.oz-presents-x-line-w-2_800x0w

POWER

Power is the enfant terrible of the X-Line family. This wheel sets aside any form of reserve. The silver-turned outer struts of the five narrow spokes slightly spread outwards and run over the rim bead. The remaining rim is submerged in a deep matt black and therefore the whole attention is directed to the silver struts. Unlike its siblings Adrenalina and Energy, the centre of the wheel is not lowered in the Power version. But in contrast on their way out, the five spokes suddenly bend sharply inwards and claw at the outer rim bead. This leads to a characteristically self-confident appearance which attracts many envious looks. OZ offers the Power in the sizes 6.5×15, 7.0×16, 7.5×16, 7.0×17, 8.0×17 and 8,0×18 inches from already 130 euros including VAT.
