When Bugatti revealed the 16 C Galibier concept in September, it was impossible not to have noticed the luxurious interior. On the dashboard you might have noticed a watch, which of course is no ordinary time piece. It’s made by Parmigiani Fleurier, who have a long history with producing watches for Bugatti – one of which was the Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Type 370 wristwatch, released to celebrate the launch of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 and designed so the driver can read the time without taking their hands of the steering wheel.

But for the Galibier concept, Parmigiani has created the Bugatti Tourbillon. A watch that has four purposes. First it will fit into at least two spots on the car (center of the dashboard, as well as near the instrument panel cluster), fit into a wrist watch strap module, fit into a pocket watch module, and finally into a desk clock module.

The watch indicates the time (of course), exposed tourbillon, as well as a prominent power reserve indicator. The watch is purposefully made to be easy to read from a distance. At this point not much more is known about the time piece other than it’s available in either gold or platinum and has an engraving pattern all over, which is meant to look like the famous tightly woven metal of the Bugatti front grill.
