This is the new-look Mazda2. The Japanese firm will pull the wraps off its tweaked supermini at the Paris show next month, when we can expect full details to be announced.
The facelift Mazda2 will get new front styling featuring Mazda’s smiley family face, a new interior, upgraded Euro 5 compliant engine line-up, and an upgraded chassis for even better ride comfort. An automatic transmission will also be offered for the very first time.
The new Mazda2 will debut at Paris alongside the new Mazda5, which debuts with the firm’s new 84 kW 1.6-litre diesel engine. The unit replaces the 2.0-litre diesel, returns 4.4 l/100km and cuts CO2 emissions by 15 per cent. The new diesel engine will also be shown in the Mazda3.
