It’s a very busy time for Porsche, as the world’s bestselling sports car brand has several new models in store for us including the soon-to-be launched Boxster roadster, the next generation of the Cayman coupe, the production version of the 918 Spyder and the all-new Cajun compact crossover.
That’s not all though, as these latest spy shots of the upcoming facelifted Panamera show. The prototype was caught during some winter testing and by the camauflaged sections we can form a good idea of the future changes.
A revised front fascia, likely to mimic that of the 2012 Porsche Carrera, suggests we’ll see the new Panamera with restyled headlights and larger LED daytime running lights in the nose. At the rear the Panamera will receive revised LED tail light units and slightly restyled bumper.
Of course, Porsche being Porsche, we don’t anticipate any shocking alterations, but rather just enough to update the Panamera’s looks and bring it in line with more recent models like the Boxster. We wouldn’t be surprised if Porsche also took the opportunity to perform a minor tweaks to the interior and the car’s mechanical hardware.
The Panamera facelift should make its appearance within the next year.
