The 2011 Land Rover Defender XTech Special Edition proved so popular in the UK, that Land Rover has decided to extend its availability in 2012.
Remaining largely unchanged, the 2012 Land Rover Defender XTech Special Edition has been given a choice of unique paint colours, namely Orkney Grey or Nara Bronze, which contrast with the black roof and headlight surrounds. The 16-inch wheels wear 235/85 profile Goodyear Wrangler tyres and are also painted black, together with the wheel arches and checkered plate on the bumper and side sills.
The interior features leather seats, with the Land Rover logo embroidered on the headrests. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, ABS, traction control, central locking with remote control and heated seats and windscreen.
The Defender XTech is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine with 360 Nm of torque and mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Available in both 90 Hard Top and 110 Utility Wagon models, the Defender XTech Special Edition will go on sale in the UK in July.
