Kahn Design Concept 17 Defender

Keeping the momentum going after their launch of the Land Rover Defender 90 XS, under the Chelsea Truck Company brand, Kahn Design have released design sketches of their upcoming 2012 Concept 17 Defender project. Details of their latest Defender project will be provided in the coming months, but for now the British tuner describes the kit as one that will somehow, “ensure the vehicle remains more agile in the war zone enhancing the chances of survival”.

The Land Rover Concept 17 Defender features a bodykit designed to give it an armor plated look, aided by the addition of a new spare wheel cover, mud flaps at each corner and even optional bullet proof glass. The standard wheels have been replaced with Kahn’s own 18-inch ‘RS Defender’ wheels.

No details of the interior have been give, but you can be assured that apart from whatever luxury items Kahn adds as a base, the interior will be fully customisable to the customers personal tastes. As mentioned, Kahn plans to make more details available at a later date, but take a look at the gallery of deisgn sketches in the meantime and let us know what you think.

Don’t forget to take a look at Kahn’s recently launched Rover Evoque Dark Tungsten Metallic Edition. It’s one of their most striking and thorough overhauls of the Evoque to-date.
