The Ferrari 599 GTB Hybrid will be powered by a petrol engine working with an electric motor juiced by Lithium-ion batteries. The Ferrari 599 GTB Hybrid is also expected to be fitted with a braking energy recovery system based on the Formula 1 KERS technology. The Ferrari 599 GTB Hybrid will have a rather special hybrid system consisting of two electric motors. One will be used for powering the exterior wheel while cornering and the other will harness electricity from the KERS-like system. Complete details and specifications of the new Ferrari 599 GTB Hybrid will be available later this week with its public unveiling.
