Honda has just released details of the updated 2011 Honda Civic and it doesn’t take a keen Type R fan to to see what’s going on here.
The new Civic for the UK will feature a number of cosmetic changes, most of which were mimicked from the designs of the current Honda Civic Type R.
There’s a beefier front grille, aggressive front bumper bar with triangular driving lights inserted into the lower corners, and a range of new sporty alloy wheels across the range. There’s also a new ‘Ionized Bronze’ metallic exterior colour on offer. The Type S also gets colour-coded side skirts and new 16 inch alloy wheels.
Inside changes range from improved seats which are covered in either half cloth and half Alcantara, up to the range-topping seats which are half leather and half Alcantara. The updated model will be available from November 2010.
