Halo Intersceptor Concept – Is It A Car, Is It A Plane…

Posted on 05 November 2010 by Scott Hayes

It’s about time someone invented a car that was also an airplane, a helicopter and a twin-hull yacht all in one. British Concept Designer Philip Pauley has come with a plan offering exactly that with this Halo Intersceptor concept.

As a car, it looks a bit like a Bugatti Veyron from the rear. From the front, it showcases an interesting design with a pointy nose and in-board style wheels that are completely covered over front and rear.

The Halo Intersceptor comes with three interchangeable housings that offer various modes of transport. Obviously you’d need a big hanger or shed to stow all the changeable parts.

British Concept Designer, Philip Pauley, says the package could be registered and legal as a car, boat and aircraft. Of course, it’s all just a concept at the moment but Pauley does was to see it go into production at some stage.
