In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Volkswagen Touareg, the German manufacturer has unveiled a special edition of the SUV, dubbed the Touareg Edition X.
The Touareg Edition X comes loaded with exclusive cosmetic features, which include: a panoramic sunroof, silver anodized roof rails, bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and darkened rear light clusters. In addition, the Edition X can be had with a unique ‘Moonlight Blue Pearl Effect’ paint, as well as 19-inch ‘Moab’ alloy wheels.
Inside, the Touareg X ups its game to provide first class accommodation. Amber brown Nappa leather features on the seats and various trim, while real ebony graces the doors and instrument panel inserts. Door sills wear an illuminated ‘Touareg X’ logo, while contrasting stitching is used to adorn the steering wheel, gear lever boot and floor mats.
In Europe, the Touareg Edition X is offered with a choice of five engine and transmission combinations, including a hybrid version, with prices in Germany starting at €61 025 for the V6 TDI BlueMotion with its 8-speed automatic transmission.
