This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the ‘Vesuvius’ moniker used by Kahn Design, with previous versions including the RS300 and the Edition Sport 300, both based on the Range Rover Sport. It is however, the first time the tuner has attached the volcano-inspired name to the Range Rover Evoque.
Inspired by the volcanic fall-out of lava and basalt, the Vesuvius treatment starts with black paintwork as it’s base and is contrast with a matte orange colour that flows over the roof into a large bonnet stripe, as well as the trim strips on the front fenders and tailgate.
Apart from the obvious colour scheme, the Vesuvius RS250 has been given a new set of sides skirts, front and rear bumpers, as well as 22-inch wheels finished in matte black. The front bumper boasts deep air intakes with vertically arranged LED day time running lights, while the bumper incorporates a diffuser-like insert with centraly mounted exhaust pipes.
The interior is kitted out with Kahn’s usual quilted-pattern leather seats with orange accents to match the exterior. The instruments have also been given orange dials and the doors and steering wheel also feature orange detailing.
