Just when you thought the iconic Mercedes-Benz G-Class could get no more impressive than in its G65 AMG guise, the Germans have gone beautifully bonkers and bolted on another rear axle. With an extended and widened wheelbase, 400 kW and 785 Nm from its twin-turbo 5.5-litre V8, the six-wheel drive, 3.7 ton G Wagon simply flattens anything in its path.
Being the second most expensive Mercedes-Benz available, after the SLS AMG Electric Drive, the €411 000 monster will flatten your wallet too. We have a feeling, however, that the order books are already full and that the list of trade-ins from existing G-Class owners is probably not too short either.
