Yokohama have released their new Neova AD08R sports tyre and, because actions speak louder than words, the company has filmed the results of a time attack session at Tsukuba circuit in Japan. Promising to be softer and grippier, Yokohama called in well-known tuning companies, HKS and Arvou, to fit the new AD08Rs to a D1-GP Toyota 86 and trackday-ready Honda S2000, which they call the Arvou AP1. Judging by the results, it looks like the new AD08R may have narrowed the gap between semi-slicks and street tyres.
