Video: U.S. Muscle Sizes Up Ebisu Circuit

JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars are the weapon of choice when it comes to drifting and in America they’re imported in their droves. Across the pond, however, one Japanese professional drifter is switching things around. Daigo Saito, the first driver to win the two drifting majors, D1GP in 2008 and Formula D in 2012, has imported some American muscle to the land of the rising sun.

In this video we see Daigo testing the ex-Forumla Drift Dodge Challenger of Sam Hubinette, which he imported to Japan late last year. The Challenger almost dwarfs the Ebisu circuit as it bucks and weaves its way around. It seems too that Daigo’s Challenger may not be a one-off love affair with U.S. muscle, as he is reportedly building a Dodge Viper for Japanese competition.
