When a car is customised with a chrome wrap, that’s often just another way of saying its customisers have completely ruined it. The Nissan GT-R is no stranger to being customised in the pursuit of speed, power and performance but we certainly can’t remember seeing one with a chrome wrap or one with such an awesome chrome wrap. The tasty aerodynamic additions do the trick too.
The Nissan GT-R you see before you is the work of a bunch of guys called ‘ReStyle.’ It is their most recent handy work and from now on it can be found hunting the streets of its native Toronto. The custom chrome Nissan GT-R rides extra-low on deep-dish, thin-spoke, ADV1 wheels. As regards work done under the chrome wrap, the body work is replete with air induction vents, extra wings, as well as customer spoilers and diffusers.
Under the aggressive, almost racing-car-like surface, the ReStyle Nissan GT-R breathes through a light-weight titanium exhaust system and that’s about it from a customisation point of view. The thin twin-bands of front LED daytime running lights do give away that it is at least a 2012 or 2013 Nissan GT-R.
Little else is known about the car in terms of engine modifications but its previous colour was standard Nissan order-book blue, and now that the Nissan GT-R has its bespoke chrome wrap, the people of Toronto won’t be mistaking this for just any other Nissan GT-R, anymore.
