The Volkswagen Taigun is expected to enter production in 2016. The compact SUV will be powered by VW’s most fuel efficient engines, which means small-capacity, possibly 3-cylinder and turbocharged, petrol and diesel units. The Taigun will challenge similarly compact rivals, like the Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, upcoming Opel Mokka and others.
