News of a new Ford Mustang is usually bitter sweet for us here in South Africa, because the car has traditionally only been available in left-hand drive. Well not anymore, because the new 2014 Ford Mustang is being produced under the ‘Global Car’ banner and will be available “to customers in key parts of Europe and Asia” says the company. Of course this means there is a good chance we’ll see the pony car in our local market too. The new Mustang will be launched in April 2014 – the 50th anniversary year of the original car.
