Ken Block and navigator Alex Gelsomino’s 2013 Rally America championship title chase came to a very sudden stop in October last year, when the pair cam unstuck at the final event, the Lake Superior Performance Rally.
According to Block, just the two-letter word ‘in’ would’ve saved their bacon had it been in their pace notes, but it wasn’t and the results were frightening and spectacular to say the least. Needless to say, Block is eternally grateful to the safety regulations and build quality of the rally championship and his Ford Fiesta HFHV.
