There’s a new circuit in South Africa! What started as a personal playground for Des Gutzeit to develop his own modified cars has evolved into a full-length 3km circuit with breath-taking elevation changes, blind corners and just enough width to fit two cars side-by-side.
Dezzi Raceway, located in Port Shepstone KZN, had already gained a following in its infant stages by hosting numerous drifting competitions,gymkhanas and hillclimb-style events along with several corporate media events. For 2015 the circuit will form part of the Extreme Festival calendar while continuing to be a regular on the SupaDrift calendar. Open track days? We imagine that’s going to keep Des very busy.
