Video: Volvo demo goes horribly wrong
This is another reminder why you never stand too close to an autonomous driving demonstration. We’ve seen it many times for ourselves; cars not behaving as they should and spectacularly embarrassing the PRs in front of journalists waiting to capture the next viral video. This is not the first time Volvo has had an incident like this but believe us, it happens elsewhere with alarming regularity – highlighting just how nascent the technology is and in many cases, coming down to the driver giving the wrong input. We’ll always have one foot covering the brakes, thanks. As for the crash test dummies, they escaped without major injuries.
