The Zonda R is said to be the last model in the Zonda series, unless Pagani are like Lamborghini and continue to release special editions for the next few years. As the final model in the Zonda line, it had to go out with a bang. Giving the R its serious bang is a 551kW 6.0-litre V12 and weight has been reduced to around 1 070kg. This cocktail means the Zonda R rockets from zero to 100km/h in just 3 seconds!

As expected with any Italian exotic, no expense has been spared. Loads of carbon fibre, titanium and a glorious sounding V12 come standard. However, the its beauty may not be the only thing that brings tears to the eyes. If you would like to “invest” in a Zonda R, Pagani will charge you US$1.8 million for the privelage. Only 15 Zonda R’s will be sold with an extra one being built to keep at the factory.
