First Look: Mitsubishi RVR Compact SUV

Mitsubishi has announced the addition of a new SUV to its lineup. Dubbed RVR, the compact crossover is expected to be offered in a number of markets around the world. The automaker has released two images as a sneak peak.

Sales will kick off in Japan this spring, with availability in other markets following a few months after. Anticipated markets include North America, Europe, and Asian regions including China.

To date, Mitsubishi has only said the RVR will be fitted with an all-new 1.8-litre MIVEC engine, but specific details have not yet been released. The new Mitsubishi RVR compact crossover is approximately 4.3 meters in length and the company says it has a good fuel efficiency thanks to its lightweight body.
