AMS Performance are better known as one of the specialists in modifying EVOs, but they also have an interest in other Japanese models. Their latest package is the AMS Nissan GT-R SR850 which puts 633 kW under the hood of Godzilla.
The AMS Nissan GT-R SR850 features extensive engine modifications including custom 90 mm cat-less downpipes, resonated mid-pipe and exhaust system, upgraded ball bearing turbochargers and custom wastegate actuators. The intercooler of the AMS Nissan GT-R SR850 has been modified with 76 mm intercooler piping with HKS blow off valves and high-flow intake piping with K&N air filters. The AMS Nissan GT-R SR850 also comes with upgraded fuel injectors, fuel system upgrade, a Cobb AccessPORT tuning system and a re-calibrated ECU.
The tuner has tested the AMS Nissan GT-R SR850 at the TX2K10 Supra & GTR Nationals event in Houston Texas where it achieved a quater mile time of 9.89 seconds with an exit speed of 233.56 km/h.
