Zagato has unveiled the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa design study, which was presented at the XII Villa D’Este Concours d’Elegance recently.
The Zagato Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa has been inspired by the 90 year collaboration between the two companies and is meant to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo. The car weighs just 850 kg and is powered by a 4,2-litre V8 engine with dry sump lubrication that develops 313 kW.
To achieve its low weight, the Zagato Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa has a carbon fibre monoshell and an aluminium body. The TZ3 Corsa has a mid-engine rear-wheel-drive architecture and comes with a 6 speed sequential tractive gearbox. Zagato say the car can reach over 300 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
The Zagato Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa is a one-off vehicle commissioned by Zagato collector Martin Kapp.
