Lotus Introduces Evora Cup Racing Car

Lotus will unveil their new Evora Cup GT4 racer at this weekend’s Pebble Beach Councours d’Elegance in the USA.

The Evora Cup GT4 has been built to compete in the European GT4 Cup series, along side competitors like Aston Martin’s N24 and the Maserati Trofeo. In addition, the Evora Cup will also compete in its own one-make series.

The Evora Cup is powered by a 4.0-litre V6 that produces 291 kW, compared to the 206 kW of the standard Evora’s 3.5-litre V6. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The GT4 Cup also benefits from enhanced aerodynamic bodywork, to direct air around the car ensuring added downforce.

Along with the Evora Cup GT4, Lotus will also be displaying their latest Elise SC RGB and F1-based T125 ultimate track-day tool.
