400+ kW Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG By Romeo Ferraris

There are lots of German tuning outfits ready to add fire to your new Ferrari or Lamborghini – rare though, is an Italian tuner who aims to add a little firepower to a German performance car.

Romeo Ferraris puts the experience of its Super Stars racing team to good use and takes on the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG – dialing things up a notch or two by means of ECU-mapping, a new exhaust and adjustable suspension.

Modifications to the engine and exhaust give the 6.2-litre V8 peak power output of 403 kW – versus the production model’s 341 kW. Romeo Ferraris has replaced the entire exhaust system with its own high performance components, including the manifold.

The tuning job gives the C63 AMG a 0 – 100 km/h sprint time of 4 seconds, compared to the 4.5 seconds of the production version. 200 km/h is achieved in just 12.5 seconds and top speed is over 300 km/h.

Romeo Ferraris also provides its own super-light 18-inch racing rims, which weigh only 10 kg each. A number of styling tweaks have also been carried out, which include a chrome-look paint job; more aerodynamic front bumper with black Mercedes-Benz badge; and black roof – other roof colours are also available.

Inside the cabin you’ll find silver stitching on the seats, an Alcantara covered steering wheel, as well as leather finish on the dashboard and door panels.
