Jaguar C-X75 Extended-Range Electric Supercar Concept

The Jaguar C-X75 concept is reminiscent of the legendary Jaguar XJ-220, but in fact the the new C-X75 concept has very little in common with the iconic XJ-220.

The Jaguar C-X75 is an extended-range electric vehicle powered by four electric motors that deliver 572 kW in total. Additionally, behind the passenger seats are a pair of 70 kW petrol-powered micro-turbines that turn generators to provide current to the four electric motors – one at each wheel – once the battery is depleted.

The sprint from 0 – 100 km/h is achieved in 3.4 seconds and the Jaguar C-X75 has a maximum speed of 330km/h – achievable when both petrol and electric power sources are being used. Enjoy the gallery of photos below, fresh from this year’s Paris Motor Show.
