Porsche has unveiled the new long-range Panamera Diesel – one of the most efficient models in its class.
The 3.0-litre V6 in the Panamera Diesel features an output of 184 kW and 550 N.m of torque. Porsche claim the luxury four-door will sip just 6.5 L/100km and emit 172 g/km of CO2 in the process. Fitted with optional low rolling-resistance tyres, the Porsche Panamera Diesel will use even less fuel – 6.3 L/100km. Equipped with a 80-litre tank, the theoretical range of the Panamera Diesel is around 1 200 km.
Porsche South Africa says pricing has not yet been confirmed, but the Panamera Diesel will be available from September 2011.
