Renault’s latest offering in the off-roader market is their 2012 Koleos, which has just received a mid-cycle facelift unveiling.
Offered in both all-wheel drive or 4×2 front wheel drive, the Koleos is powered by two versions of the Renault-Nissan M9R in-line 4-cylinder turbo diesel, available in 110 kW and 125 kW states of tune. A 130 kW 2.5 litre petrol engine will also be available. Both engines carry over from the current Koleos, although Renault promises improvements to fuel consumption and emissions.
In terms of design, the 2012 Renault Koleos comes with a new front face, featuring large air-intakes on each side, a new chromed grille, slimmer headlights and new side mirrors with integrated LED indicators. The rear end design has been carried over from the current Koleos, whilst the interior has been given several updates, including a new dashboard and trim choices. A new colour is also offered, as pictured, which Renault calls ‘Cayenne Orange’. The facelifted version of the Koleos will be available later in the 2011 year with prices to be announced closer to launch.
