Artega GT Convertible Concept

German sportscar maker Artega, has unveiled a convertible concept version of their Artega GT at the Geneva Motor Show.

Looking virtually identical to the standard model, the car has a panoramic glass roof which can be taken off and stored in the boot. When in place, the transparent glass lets plenty of sunlight in, but at all times maintains the qualities of a sporty coupe.

Power is provided by a Volkswagen-sourced 3.6-litre V6 engine that produces 220 kW. Detailed specifications haven’t been released, but the standard GT accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 270 km/h.

Artega also used the Geneva event to announce a series of updates to its regular GT. The sports car now features an upgraded Pioneer infotainment system, a redesigned instrument panel, new leather trim, and slightly redesigned side mirrors. The all-electric SE, which packs two electric motors and is rated at a combined 280 kW, is also still available.
