BMW’s X1 crossover has come in for a mild styling and trim update, and these new leaked images offer a first look at the changes.
Facelift features include a new front bumper with silver painted accents, new side mirrors and redesigned side sills, also with silver painted accents. The shape of the headlights remains the same, but the internal design has been changed slightly and, while there aren’t any photos of the rear end, the X1 has been given a new set of taillights and new rear bumper.
The interior design remains unchanged, although we can likely expect new trim options and new standard equipment to debut with the 2013 model-year update. Other changes include new alloy wheel designs and a fresh palette of exterior colours.
Engine choice will remain the same, save for the new 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged unit, (with 180 kW and 350 Nm of torque), that recently debuted in the BMW (F30) 328i.
