2013 Lamborghini Gallardo Facelift

2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

Automobili Lamborghini is presenting a facelifted Gallardo range at this year’s Paris Motor Show. For 2013, the Gallardo has been given a subtly different look, inspired by the more angular design of the Aventador, while the more hardcore Superleggera and Performante models have become known as the Edizione Tecnica.

The 2013 Gallardo LP560-4 features a new front air intake and brake duct design, that stretches the entire width of the bumper. The trapezoidal patterns of the front bumper are mirrored at the rear, which also sports a new diffuser. A new set of 19-inch alloys wheels has also been introduced, which are painted in matt black and feature precision-machined spokes in polished silver. A new ‘Style Package’ gives buyers the choice of gloss black paint on the front spoiler, as well as the front and rear grilles.

Changes to the interior are minimal but Lamborghini has mentioned that its ‘Ad Personam’ personalisation program will allow drivers to have virtually anything they want in the cabin.

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Edizione Tecnica builds on the specification of the Superleggera and Performante models. The changes include a high-mounted fixed wing and carbon-ceramic brakes as standard equipment rather than optional as was previously the case. The Edizione Tecnica is available in three colour combinations, with contrasting front air intakes and roof arches. They are: Nero Nemesis (matt black) body with Arancio Argos (orange) details; Bianco Canopus (matt white) body with Arancio Argos accents; and Arancio Argos body with Nero Nemesis pillars and front air intakes.

No changes have been made to any of the powertrains, which mean power outputs range from 405 kW (LP550-2) to 420 kW (Superleggera).
