Following the unveiling of the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 at the Paris Motor Show a few weeks ago, the Raging Bull has now released the drop-top version of its supercar.
As with the revised 2013 Gallardo coupe, the Gallardo Spyder has been given sharper triangular lines and trapezoidal shapes for the front and rear, as well as larger air intakes and ducts for improved cooling of the engine and brakes, as well as improved aerodynamics.
As with the Coupe, a special Edizione Tecnica version of the Spyder Performante is available, which features a high-mounted fixed wing and carbon-ceramic brakes. In addition, the standard 2013 Gallardo Spyder can also be optioned with gloss-black highlights to the front spoiler and the grilles at both ends.
Power from the 5.2-litre V10 engine remains unchanged at 412 kW and 540 Nm of torque. Deliveries to European customers are expected to begin in November with other world markets to follow in 2013.
