Maserati GranCabrio MC

The Maserati GranCabrio MC was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show and essentially peels back the lid of the GranTurismo MC Stradale.

The new GranCabrio MC shares the same sporty and aggressive look as its MC Stradale sibling, while affording the characteristics of an open-top grand tourer. The car is 48 mm longer than the standard GranCabrio and GranCabrio Sport and draws its front-end styling directly from the MC Stradale. The aerodynamic changes are inspired by the design of the GranTurismo race car from Maserati’s one-make Trofeo MC World Series, which gives the GranCabrio MC greater downforce.

Power comes from the GranTurismo’s familiar 4.7-litre V8 engine, which in its latest tune develops 331 kW and 520 Nm of torque. Matched to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the V8 will propel the GranCabrio MC from 0 – 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and on to a top speed of 286 km/h.
