The European spec Nissan 370Z, destined for South Africa, has received a facelift and was showcased at the Paris Motor Show last week. Taking on the styling of the American spec car, the minor changes are visible around the front end, with two vertical strips of LED daytime running lights.
The rear gets an altered rear wing and reshaped rear bumper. Nissan will also launch two new colours: Midnight Blue and Magma Red. There is a newly designed set of 18-inch wheels as standard, while a freshly design set of 19-inch items is available as an option. On the inside, the only change to the revamped 370Z is a new instrument binnacle that features a black background.
Under the beefy bonnet the engine remains unchanged, as does the choice of either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic. The 3.7-litre V6 still produces 241 kW and gets the sports coupe to 100 km/h from zero in 5.6 seconds. No details about pricing were released at the Paris Motor Show, but with such minor changes to the car it’s likely to remain just about the same when it arrives in South Africa in 2013.
Nissan South Africa could not confirm which quarter of 2013 the facelifted 370Z would be arriving in.
