BMW M6 Coupe By G-Power

G-Power may as well stand for gluttonous power or something to that effect, because it seems no amount of kilowatts is enough for the BMW tuner.

In their latest work, and first with the new M6 Coupe (F13), G-Power have applied their same tuning package that they developed for the M5 (F10). This means the 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine has been tweaked to produce 470 kW and maximum torque of 780 Nm, an increase of 56 kW and 100 Nm.

Although G-Power have not released any performance figures, their similarly tuned and heavier M5 sprints from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed of 310 km/h. It wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume a slightly quicker 100 km/h dash and higher top speed of closer to 320 km/h.

G-Power has also added a coilover suspension to the M6, along with carbon fibre brakes behind the front wheels and a lightweight titanium exhaust system. The G-Power M6 also wears 21-inch alloy wheels, and a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, sized 265/30 ZR21 up front and 305/25 ZR21 in the back.

With this being G-Power’s first tuning effort with the BMW M6, we expect the company will release a far more extreme version in due course.
