Belgian tuner Caractere Exclusive has released a new body kit for the Porsche 911 (991) Carrera at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas. It’s bordering on overkill in our opinion, but among the glitz and glamour of L.A., it probably fits right in.
It’s not simply a cosmetic exercise of course. The kit is made of polyurethane and features an entirely new front bumper, side skirts, rear spoiler and diffuser integrated into the rear bumper. Integrated air intakes and outlet ducts within the front bumper improve downforce and brake cooling, while those on the side provide cooling to the rear brakes and engine. The rear wing is a split-level item that incorporates a third brake light and engine air intake.
A sport exhaust system with valve control and quad-exhaust tailpipes delivers an improved sound track, while a pair of trademark Caractere, 3-piece, ‘Modulare’ wheels round out the aggressive looking aerodynamics package and are sized in 20-inch up front and 21-inch at the rear.
