Looking instantly recognisable as the most-über Bentley Continental GT Convertible the British marque offers, the GTC Speed model has had some images of itself leaked onto the internet ahead of a possible debut at the NAIAS (North America International Auto Show) in Detroit, early next year.
The Continental GTC Speed garners a more prominent front fascia, a sport-tuned suspension with adjustable dampers and delectably massive 21-inch alloy wheels, to go with a rear-end sporting the GT Speed’s tell-tale elliptical exhausts.
Official details are yet to be revealed, but much like the Speed Coupé, the Convertible will be powered by the brand’s biggest, most-ubiquitous, twin-turbocharged, 6.0-litre W12 engine, which develops 460 kW and 800 Nm of torque.
This almighty shunt is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The GTC Speed model accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and can hit the holy-grail of top speeds: 320 km/h (200 mph).
