With the first images of the BMW 4 Series Coupé having been released earlier this month, photoshopers and chopers are free to start applying their skills and imaginations as to what the M4 Coupé may look like.
One graphic artist whose work we enjoy and have found to be uncannily accurate, is Wildspeed. In his latest work he’s teamed up with the guys over at F30Post to put some pieces of the puzzle together.
Based on the available images of the 4 Series Coupé, the computer generated images take cues from the M3/M4 prototype that’s been spotted testing on occasion, along with some modest speculation, a little imagination and styling cues from the ‘Air Curtain’ technology of the M6 and 1M Coupés. Judging by the new Porsche Cayman and Wildspeed’s previous renderings of the mid-engined sports car back in January, we’d say these latest BMW M4 mockups could be spot on too.
Let’s not forget that Jacek Kolodziejczyk, from Iacoski Design, has also created a few speculative renderings of the next M Coupé. The young Polish designer released his images back in January when the 3 Series F30 sedan was still a novel sight on our computer screens. The renderings are a little straight-forward perhaps, but still help to conjure alternative mental images of possibly a milder looking M4 Coupé.
