The first 2013 Dodge Viper SRT rolled off the production line at the Conner Assembly in Detroit last Thursday. The new owner, Scott Thomas, took delivery of Viper SRT chassis number 001 having paid US$300 000 for the privilege at a Barrett-Jackson auction last year. The first 2013 Viper SRT was sold via auction to benefit the Austin Hatcher Foundation for pediatric cancer. On-hand to delver the car were Sergio Marchionne, Chairman and CEO of the Chrysler Group, together with Ralph Gilles, President and CEO of the SRT Brand.
