New Aero Package For Honda Civic Hatch

Honda Civic Aero Pack

Honda may have taken a bit of stick for their uninspiring redesigns of the latest Civic Sedan and Hatchback, but in a refreshing bout of self-introspection, Honda have just launched an Aero Package for the Civic Hatch in Europe. Not only that, but the Japanese manufacturer is also offering a bunch of new options to help customise customer’s cars even further.

While we’re not the biggest fans of manufacturers who have to offer packages to fix the inherent problems of the original car, we will admit that this new Aero Pack does go some way to improving the overall aesthetics of the Honda Civic Hatch.

The redesigned front bumper has its top section painted in the same colour as the body, while the lower section adopts a carbon fibre-look finish that is repeated on the rear diffuser attached around the back. A new set of ‘Argon’ alloy wheels is are available in both 17-inch and 18-inch sizes and these have a matte-coat finish.

The Aero Pack gives the otherwise befuddled Hatch a sculpted and more muscular stance and this compliments the blacked-out privacy glass windows.

Other offerings from Honda include a Sports Pack with an extra spoiler, as well as deeper skirting around the front and side of the car. The Design Pack comes with door mirror covers, different front grille, boot-lid and tailgate decorations in metallic-matte silver, while the Convenience Pack includes mudguards, side body trims and new interior door sills.

The Aero Pack is available for order in Europe right now, but there is no news yet of whether it will arrive in South Africa to help boost the Honda Civic Hatch’s local appeal.
