In the same week that U.S. publication Edmunds pegged the new Corvette Stingray C7 against the smaller Porsche Cayman S, it appears they also had a BMW M3 E92 on-hand to serve as another benchmark measure of performance for the new ‘Vette. (Look out for the bright yellow Cayman S in shot and watch the match-up here.) However, while the Cayman S faired well against the more powerful Corvette, the ageing BMW M3 got left behind in every comparative exercise. It’s not surprising considering the arrival of the all-new M4 Coupe is imminent, following which we doubt the Corvette would have it so easy.
