Everything runs in circles, so they say, and this modern take on the Jaguar XJ220 supercar is quite possibly a prime example. Belgian tuners Overdrive, have reworked a number of the XJ220′s features, ranging from the cosmetic to the mechanical.
In the 90s the 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 was hailed for its performance, but criticised for its tremendous turbo lag. Likewise, although equipped with 330 mm (front) and 300 mm (rear) brake discs, paired with AP Racing 4-piston calipers, the unassisted setup didn’t inspire confidence. Overdrive have remedied these and updated other areas of the car including: LED lights both front and rear; as well as binning the old 90s sound system in favour of a more sonorous and modern unit.
