A few weeks ago we brought you an inside look at the production of the brutish Lamborghini Aventador. Well, the Lamborghini Gallardo is the company’s best selling model ever and in this video we take a look at the Gallardo production line in Sant’Agata.
It goes without saying that Lamborghini’s factory is also a very special place. 50 Years ago it was where Ferruccio Lamborghini dreamt of building a world-class sports car. Today, the factory serves as a place of pilgrimage for sports car fans from all across the globe, dreaming of one day owning their own Lamborghini. For the privileged few, the people at Lamborghini strive to make those dreams a reality.
The Gallardo and Aventador are built on separate production lines at a rate of 11 cars per day. The facility houses the company headquarters, prototyping centre, lightweight construction centre, official museum and Lamborghini shop. If you’re ever in Northern Italy, we suggest you make your own pilgrimage to Sant’Agata.
