The Volvo C30 was a car we all loved but it appears no one can save it. It’s only been around for seven years, and we all have nothing but good things to say about it, but sadly, Volvo are going to kill off the stylish and understated two-door hatchback. And to mark the occasion they are giving away the very last Volvo C30.
Perhaps the height of the Volvo C30’s career was its starring role in the Twilight films, where it was made to seem safe, exciting and naughty all at the same; while still appealing fiercely to its target market of females between the ages of 20 and 50.
People needed more practicality than a good-looking two door had to offer and with the introduction of Volvo’s capable V40 five-door, Volvo quite rightly have nowhere else to go but end production of the C30. The model they are going to give away in their Last Ever C30 competition is an R-Design model with Polestar upgrades and an Ice White paint job.
The twitter competition to win the car starts on Thursday the 13th of June when the last C30 leaves Gothenburg on its way to the UK. To enter the competition visit www.LastEverC30.co.uk. Each post must use the hashtag #LastEverC30.
