The 2014 Bentley Continental V8 S will be shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show – a lot like every other car we hear news of at the moment. For 2014 the GT V8 S receives an increase in power from its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, from 373 kW to 389 kW and a torque increase from 660 Nm to 680 Nm.
The ‘S’ model reaches 100 km/h from zero in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 303 km/h. Other sporting enhancements over the standard GT V8 are a 10 mm lower ride height updated dampers and stability control system, as well as a stiffer rear sway bar, all in the name of delivering more capable handling. Finally, Bentley has tweaked the front and rear facias ever so slightly and given the car a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels.
