Video: Nissan GT-R NISMO Testing At The Nurburgring

The 2014 Nissan GT-R NISMO edition is said to be targeting a Nurburgring Nordschleife lap time quicker than the 7m19.63s set by the Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 in 2012. In this video we see the GT-R NISMO prototype attacking the ‘Ring, with some particularly high corner speeds on occasion and a pronounced V6 wail.

The NISMO GT-R features a revised aerodynamics package, including the obviously large GT3-inspired rear wing. Rumours also suggest that power from the 3.8-litre V6 twin-turbo could be raised from the current 404 kW to around 425 kW, but we’ll have to wait until the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show in late November for all the official details.
