There are those of us who treat an example of automotive exotica as ‘a sacred cow’ to be admired and left undisturbed. In Bob’s case, these philosophies are applied to a Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing – a car that these days can easily be traded among collectors for $1-million. Far from any climate-controlled museum, collectors garage,  or manicured grounds of a Concours d’Elegance for that matter, Bob Sirna and his Gullwing get their kicks among the fumes and freedom of the Bonneville Salt Flats.
