There are some things in life that, given the choice, you’d rather not know about. Take this Mercedes-Benz R-Class for example. It wasn’t the prettiest Merc to begin with, it never sold in any significant numbers for the company and we doubt many people petitioned Merc to continue production when they announced plans to axe it from their line-up.
However, in the ‘land of the free and the home of the brave’, maybe free choice and bravery combine for an eye-watering result. Chromed to the hilt and placed on a pedestal by its owner thanks to 30-inch Enzo Forgiato alloys, this R-Class can only be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
