We are massive fans of the BMW 1 M Coupe and based on its success, there will inevitably be a sequel in the form of an unofficially titled 2M Coupe. However, the hype around the next baby ‘M’ is beginning to build, and the reason is because the M235i is reportedly so good.
The BMW M235i is a product of the M Performance department and, while it forgoes the specialist componentry from BMW M, it receives a boost in power, M Performance brakes and a couple of M Performance styling queues. With 235 kW and 450 Nm the M235i leaps to 100 km/h from a standing start in 4.8 seconds and reaches a limited top speed of 250 km/h.
